Reza Tajbakhsh (born November 18, 1981) is an Iranian composer, arranger and pianist. He is the only child of the family and has no siblings. His father, Nasser Tajbakhsh, was born in 1948 and is the head of Iran Insurance Company. Encouraged by his parents, he started playing music and, in the year of 2000, at the age of 19, he officially and unprofessionally went on stage as a pianist with a rock band at the Ebne Sina Cultural Center. To this day, he has performed as a musician, composer and arranger on some of the best- selling pop albums in Iran.
Tajbakhsh leads the orchestra in concerts by artists such as Babak Jahanbakhsh and Hami. In the first season of MA Music Festival, he won the golden statue of the best musician, in both people’s and expert’s choice categories.
Reza Tajbakhsh is a well-known music figure in Iran. Other than being a genius in arranging music and his successful collaborations with great singers such as Hami, Babak Jahanbakhsh, Amir Abbas Golab and … he is one of the best pianists in the country at present and Tajbakhsh starts shining from the moment he sits behind the piano at concerts.
