In 1983, Farid Sedighi was born into a family of artists and art lovers in Mashhad. His parents are from Sabzevar, Diare Sarbadaran, and Mazinan region, the birthplace of Dr. Ali Shariati. From an early age, he became acquainted with the instrument and nova through his father's activities in music and anthem groups, and gradually began to play the instrument. He took his first steps with self-education in playing the piano, keyboard and guitar, and took a more serious look at musical activities by working in school bands and school anthems.

He was 16 years old when he experienced composing professionally in the form of melodies for the school choir or based on poems and songs he found from books and magazines. At the age of 18, by taking music theory and salfage classes, he decided to pursue all of his career goals in the world of music. Therefore, his professional activities with his brother (Omid) have been unofficial since 2001, with the reconstruction and performance of enduring pop songs in the form of concerts in Iranian cities such as Mashhad, Sabzevar, Shahroud, etc.He finally officially started his professional activity by recording his first song called Bahaneh with his brother's voice in the music unit of Khorasan Radio and Television.

He and his brother became members of the Tehran Music House in 2004 and in 2005 they recorded their second song called Zendegi in the Music Unit of the Islamic Republic of Iran Radio and Television. Since then, Farid Sedighi has composed nearly 40 works, more than 20 of which have been recorded in the form of pop and classical music at the Radio and Television Music Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran, all but three with the voice of Farid's older brother have been performed all over the radio and television networksin Iran as well as the Jam Jam World Network have been broadcast on various occasions.Some of his successes in the field of music are:

1. Winner of the award for the best pop music arrangement from the Tarnam Rahmat Music Festival in 2006

2. Achieving the third rank in the field of pop music arrangement in the Resistance Festival in 2008

3.Achieving third place in the field of pop music composition in the first Iranian National Youth Festival in 2009

4. Selected as an educated artist of Sabzevar by Sabzevar University of Medical Sciences

Since Farid's parents have a good voice and musical taste, he is always inspired and benefits from his parents' views and ideas in making his works.

Farid considers one of the greatest events of his life to be a meeting that he had with Omid with the living memory of Master Babak Bayat in the summer of 2002 at his house. He always mentions this 5-hour session as a complete classroom.

Farid Sedighi has never participated in any academic course in the field of composing and arranging music, and he belives that the best teacher and classroom to follow is to listen and analyze the new and old works of maestros in this field such as Mohammad Shams, Shahrdad Rouhani, Sadegh Nojouki, Farid Zoland, Babak Bayat and Esfandiar Monfaredzadeh and ... He also tries to increase the quality level of his musical works by listening to and analyzing the works of world film music greats such as Danny Elfman, Enio Morricone, Nino Rota, Zbigniew Preisner, etc
