From childhood he had an unusual interest towards great pieces of music by classical composers such as Mozart and Beethoven. Especially Beethoven’s seventh symphony that he used to listen to thoroughly with great interest and joy. He also had interest in pieces of Chopin. It is obvious that such display of love and interest from a four years old child towards such great and sophisticated forms of music is phenomenal and impressive.

When he decided to start learning music academically after finishing his studies in physics and mathematics, by the help of his mother and consulting with the renowned composer Loris Tcheknavorian he was able to enroll at the Komitas conservatory of Yerevan at the age of twenty one. During his time in Yerevan he took private lessons under the great composer and master of music maestro Sergey Aghajanyan, who according to Pouria himself, was the only one who taught him the true understanding of musical concept.
Rahimian worked as a music instructor for four years in London. During this period he instructed many pupils from different ages, both in private lessons and in public institutions such as Uxbridge College and Chantry school that especially focuses on children with special educational needs.
After finishing his studies Pouria returned to Iran and began his career by composing and publishing his album “Echo of Silence” which was performed by Irans renowned symphonic instrumentalists. In 2012 his piece Echo of Silence was praised in Fajr music festival as the best composition.
In 2015 he composed the music for an audio book called “The Little Golden Fish” written and narrated by Katayoun Riahi the Iranian famous actress.
