Nasser Rahimi Farahani (born May 15, 1962 in Tehran) is a musician and flutist.
He entered the Conservatory of Music in 1973 and graduated in 1980. At the Tehran Conservatory of Music, he learned to play the flute with Kambiz Roshan Ravan and Manouchehr Monshizadeh. After graduating, he joined the Radio Orchestra professionally in December 1979, and since 1989 he has worked as a soloist with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, the Radio and Television Chamber Orchestra, the National Orchestra, and various trio, quartet, quintet, and pop groups.
From 1983 to 1984 he learned advanced and technical courses in flute with the late Farhad Shams.
Nasser Rahimi was the first flutist of the Bahman Cultural Center Symphony Orchestra for about 4 years and has collaborated with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra in most of the Fajr music festivals. He has also participated in more than 100 movies and TV series as a musician and music recorder.
She also teaches at the Girls' Music Conservatory, the Radio and Television Music Training Center, and various music schools. Nasser Rahimi received a first-class artistic degree (equivalent to a doctorate) in 2003 from the Artists Evaluation Council of the Ministry of Culture and Guidance.
In November 2009, he led the "Day Orchestra" by composers such as; Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, Carmine Coppola, Goran Bergovic, Henry Mancini and performed at Rudaki Hall in Tehran.
